Unlike conventional iron workers, the Metal Master comes with a 20 " brake. It has been designed to all thicknesses from thin gauge material to 3/4" thick flat bar with minimal, inexpensive tooling.

The secret is the Metal Master's adjustable lower brake die. It comes with between 3 1/2" between the peaks - ideal for 1/2" to 3/4" material.

To bend 3/8" material or less, simply place 2 - 1 1/4" square bars in the lower die. This now gives you 1 3/4" between the peaks. Adding 2 1/2" square bars on top of the 1 1/4" square bars gives you 3/4" between the peaks - ideal for forming narrow tips on gauge material.

For repetitive bends, an adjustable back gauge is available.
